CAAS SAR-66 exam preparation (Singapore)
The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore licenses aircraft maintenance engineers under SAR-66, the Singapore Airworthiness Requirements Part 66. Its basic examination syllabus follows the Part-66 module structure, so the technical module banks here are direct preparation for the SAR-66 papers.

Part-66 modules and knowledge levels
CAAS publishes the SAR-66 syllabus with a knowledge level of 1, 2 or 3 for each subject and category, in the same way as EASA. Since 1 November 2022, Modules 11A, 12 and 13 are split into two parts that are booked and sat separately, and you need to pass both parts to pass the module.
One common essay paper
Instead of essays inside each module, SAR-66 has a single essay paper (M50): four questions, two from Module 7 and one each from Modules 9 and 10, in 120 minutes, the same for every category. To pass it you need 75% overall and at least 75% on each question.
Exams run by CAAS
The basic knowledge examinations are conducted by CAAS and booked through the CAAS Examination Portal. Each module needs 75% to pass and penalty marking is not applied to the multiple-choice papers.

Do EASA Part-66 questions help for SAR-66?
Yes, for the technical modules. SAR-66 uses the Part-66 module framework, so the maths, physics, electrical, electronic, aerodynamics, structures and engine modules are the same core knowledge.
What is the SAR-66 pass mark?
75% for each module. For the essay paper you need 75% overall and at least 75% on each question. There is no penalty marking on the multiple-choice papers.
Which module should I not rely on for Singapore?
Module 10 (Aviation Legislation). It covers the Singapore regulatory framework, so use Module 10 here for general concepts and study the current CAAS material for the exam.
