About this module

EASA Part 66 Module 4 introduces aircraft electronics: semiconductor devices (diodes, zeners, thyristors, transistors and op-amps), printed circuit boards and ESD handling, and the servomechanisms and synchro systems used to move and report positions all over the aircraft. B2 candidates sit a deeper version of the module than B1, but the subject areas are the same.

The exam rewards familiarity with device behaviour — which way a diode conducts, what a zener regulates, why a control synchro nulls at 90° — and with servo concepts like rate feedback, damping and hunting. Our questions cover the full range, from doped-silicon basics to differential synchros, each with a concise explanation of the underlying principle.
