About this module
EASA Part 66 Module 6 covers what aircraft are made of and what holds them together: steel and aluminium heat treatment, composites and honeycomb repair, every major form of corrosion and its treatment, plus the enormous hardware catalogue — rivets, bolts and locking devices, pipes and unions, bearings, gears, control cables and electrical connectors.
It is a memory-heavy module for both B1 and B2, full of specific values (rivet spacing, cable wear limits, thread angles, taper-pin dimensions) that only stick through repetition.
